He is particularly passionate about empowering singers with knowledge that helps them further understand the intricacies and anatomy of the voice. With a dash of confidence and a great deal of science, truly anything is possible.
Lessons are in person in New York City, with virtual lessons available.
I had the pleasure of working under the musical direction of Chase for my first Cruise Ship contract, and both professionally and personally, he exceeded my expectations. Chase created a safe and collaborative learning environment where he perfectly tied together the importance of communicating what works and does not work for my personal voice, while also challenging me in ways I never thought possible. He was consistent in his teaching style and focused heavily on the practice of safe vocal technique, and I was able to walk away from the experience with an improved sound and higher stamina. Chase and I have continued a working relationship beyond this contract, and I recommend him highly to all of my people!
I have been a musical theatre professional for the past 16 years, and during that time I have worked with several vocal coaches. I began working with Chase over the past year, and the difference has been truly fantastic. He has used his expertise in the anatomy of the voice to identify some unhelpful habits I had developed based on the advice of well-meaning former coaches. I have regained power and agility I thought I'd lost, richness of tone, and best of all singing feels EASY again. Chase also utilizes his own experiences in the performing arena as a tool to understand the requirements of being a performer. I often sing a variety of genres, and he is able to seamlessly translate technical principles to fit whatever musical scenario I find myself in. He is also extremely helpful with portfolio selection/coaching, as well as being a kind and encouraging presence in the studio. Whatever your level, I HIGHLY recommend working with Chase!
Chase McCall was my music director for a cruise contract. I told Chase I had been struggling with my technique and I desperately needed help. Chase took the time to work with me every single day on refocusing my voice and showing me different strategies. He is extremely knowledgeable, clear, and patient with his instruction and provides a safe space for anyone to improve their craft.
